Sypris Electronics offers a comprehensive assortment of spare parts for both current and mature products to ensure the operational availability of your equipment.
The company has programs to repair/exchange parts designed to provide customers with a fast and easy means to replace faulty modules or parts. Sypris Electronics also offers magnetic tape digitization.
Operator and maintenance training are available on most Sypris Electronics products and on the more popular mature product lines. Training can be scheduled on-site or at a Sypris Electronics facility. Classes feature hands-on experience with functional products and education in recording theory and practices. Skilled instructors and professionally prepared classroom materials and training manuals help ensure that users get the maximum performance from Sypris products.
Support contracts are available for all Sypris Electronics products and selected test and data acquisition equipment manufactured by other companies. Support contracts offered are:
Sypris Electronics customer service organization provides ISO-9001:2000 certified magnetic tape to digital conversion process solutions.
A dedicated and highly skilled service engineer can be assigned via an on-site contract. The engineer is experienced and trained on the products and applications to be supported at the customer's site.
Contracts covering all parts, labor, unlimited service calls and two preventative maintenance events per year are available. These contracts include the same protection as the original warranty. The entire Sypris product line has various fixed-priced service agreements available to meet your requirements.
Sypris Electronics offers contracts that support all assets of the customer's facility. These contracts provide inventory control, preventative maintenance and repairs regardless of the manufacturer or model number. This program may be used in government and industries where strict asset control and calibration programs need to be maintained.
Customers may send in any portable product for repair and/or calibration. A written quotation will be provided for approval brfore beginning any repairs. This repair service is available for all makes/models of tape recorders, peripherals and associated test instrumentation.
Products may be field-retrofitted to offer greater capability. Most retrofits and upgrades can be done in the field, at a Regional Support Center, or at the customer's location. In cases where retrofits are required, customers will be notified and scheduled. Product improvement upgrades are typically offered through the price catalog by our sales force.
Products with software and firmware may be upgraded to enhance the operational capabilities. Most upgrades can be installed in the field to minimize downtime. As part of our service agreement, most software upgrades are provided at no cost.
Sypris Electronics offers nationwide support service to original manufacturers of test equipment, either on-site or at any of its Regional Service Centers.
Sypris Electronics will install and test purchased equipment at the customer's facility to ensure proper installation and operation.
