Sypris Electronics' Cyber Security Solutions (CSS) group has earned a reputation for being the go-to team for the U.S. Army for technical expertise in security architecture analysis, cryptography, digital forensics, and ethical hacking.

Our broad range of cyber security capabilities includes Information Assurance (IA) engineers with white hat hacking skills and cyber attack mentality.  Sypris' background in all aspects of cyber warfare and security gives us an edge in tackling issues such as network defense, incident response, and zero-day attacks.

Our goal is to develop innovative solutions in support of the Comprehensive National Cyber Security Initiative (CNCI) through our award-winning Certification & Accreditation support services and development of Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) compliant automated tools:

Cyber Security Partnership Successes

Sypris Electronics is a Tier 1 Industrial Partner with the  Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS) at Purdue University.  CERIAS is the world's largest and foremost multidisciplinary academic center addressing the issues of information security, assurance and privacy.  We have the capability to tap into 75 faculty researchers and 100 Infosec grad students.

Sypris also has a close working relationship with the Computer Science & Engineering Dept. at the University of South Florida (USF), and has collaborated on a number of security-related research projects with USF faculty. One of our Cyber Security Principals is an adjunct professor at USF teaching courses in Cryptography and Network Security, Digital Forensics, and Ethical Hacking.  He also started "Whitehatters Computer Security Club" at USF.
